About our guest teacher:

Jenia Hryhorieva has been practicing Buddhism since 1999, when she met Lama Ole and Hannah Nydahl in Kyiv, Ukraine. Fascinated by their human example, she became part of the Diamond Way family. Over the years, she traveled with Lama Ole, lived in Copenhagen Buddhist Center, guided pilgrimage tours to India and Nepal, and played an active role in developing Diamond Way Buddhist centers in Crimea.

Since 2008, at the request of Lama Ole, she has been giving lectures worldwide on the basics of Buddhism.

She now lives in Seattle, WA, works as an art preparator at a art museum, and is closely involved in the search for the Cascadia Retreat Center.
