How can we be fearless in the face of death?
In Tibetan Buddhism, the practitioner relates to death in an open-hand, scientific way. Buddhists strive to understand and utilize the mental states that arise when mind and body separate, and over centuries, Buddhist masters have gained great insight into the experience of death. Join us for a talk by Amadeo Rosenheim, a student of Lama Ole Nydhal, the master of Phowa— conscious dying practice— and author of a book, Fearless Death, and learn Buddhist wisdom on the art of dying. The talk will be followed by a guided meditation. Beginners are welcome.
